What we can do for you

Everything below is done in-house with the T450 and the right attachment for the job. Not sure which one you need? Give us a call and describe it — that's usually quicker.

Gravel Driveways & Approaches

New driveways, worn-out ones brought back, and parking pads that hold up to a loaded truck and a wet spring.

  • New acreage driveways
  • Regrading and re-gravelling
  • Geotextile base and proper compaction
  • Parking pads and turnarounds

Site Prep & Grading

Cut and fill, levelling and pad prep — the groundwork everything else gets built on top of.

  • Shop, shed and building pads
  • Cut, fill and levelling
  • Yard and approach grading
  • Rock and rubble removal

Drainage Solutions

If water sits where it shouldn't, we work out where it wants to go and give it a path.

  • Surface and subsurface drainage
  • Weeping tile and dry wells
  • Swales and diversion ditches
  • Erosion and washout repair

Material Moving

Gravel, topsoil, sand, rock or fill — moved, spread and levelled where you actually want it.

Overgrown lots pushed back and cleaned up — brush piled for burning or hauled off site, so you get the use of the ground again.

Questions

The things people ask

Do you charge for quotes?
No. Quotes are free and we'll come out to the site to give you an accurate one rather than guessing over the phone.
Will the machine fit into my yard?
The T450 is about 5 feet wide, so it needs roughly 5½ feet of clear access. That's wider than a standard garden gate, but it goes through most double gates, RV gates and yard entrances without trouble. Send a photo of your access with your enquiry and we'll tell you straight away.
What makes a gravel driveway last?
What's under it. We put geotextile down so the gravel doesn't sink into the clay, build the base up properly, shape it so water runs off instead of sitting on it, then roll and compact the surface. Skipping any of that is why driveways rut out after one wet spring.
Will the machine wreck my lawn?
Far less than you'd expect. The T450 runs on rubber tracks rather than wheels, which spreads the weight over a much larger footprint — that's the main reason we run a track loader instead of a skid steer on tires.
How far do you travel?
We're based in Spruce Grove and cover Parkland County and the surrounding acreages. If you're further out, ask anyway — larger jobs are often still worth the trip.
Do you haul away the dirt and brush?
Yes. Removal can be included in the quote so you're not left with a pile of dirt or a heap of branches at the end of the job.
What time of year can you do the work?
Anything involving digging or gravel runs from spring thaw through to freeze-up, so get in early — the calendar fills up fast once the ground opens. Through the winter we're on snow.
